“Frankenstein” by Mary Shelly
5/5 Stars ★★★★★
Why did you like or dislike this book? The book explores themes of using science to “play god” and morality vs technology which I think are more prevalent today than ever before. As we keep making scientific progress we have to remember just because we can do something doesn’t mean we should. The central conflict is Man vs. Monster but those lines are easily blurred creating a sympathetic antagonist and a complex protagonist who despite the moral duty to care for what he’s created is unable to.
