“The Arctic Incident” by Eoin Colfer (Book 2 in the Artemis Fowl Series)

Why did you like or dislike this book?
This book was very good. The four main criteria I look for in books were all more or less met (appropriate, interesting, writing style, character development). As in all books, this book had a few inappropriate, boring, and disagreeable sections. On the whole, however, it was a very satisfying read.
Three words that describe this book: Fairies + Mud Man genius = havoc/pain/despair/exasperation/hilarity
