“One for Sorrow” by Mary Downing Hahn
5/5 Stars ★★★★★
Why did you like or dislike this book? I liked this book a lot! The setting and time are explained well, so you really feel like you are sucked into the early 1900s. I also enjoyed the first-person narration so this is for sure an entertaining read. I did feel like the beginning had some pretty intense bullying and the choices the kids made were not always great, but it got better as it went on and the ending was good. Overall, it was a great ghost story with mild scares, an intriguing plot, and a good setting and character development.
