After moving to a four-day school week, the North Callaway R-1 school district has decided to open their school libraries on a rotating schedule on Mondays.
At each Open Public Library session, area residents will have access to the school’s computers, research databases, magazines and reading materials. Students and their families can check out items from the school library on the student’s account. The Daniel Boone Regional Library is partnering with the school district to also offer books and other items from our collection for you to borrow with your DBRL library card.
If you don’t yet have a DBRL library card, apply now online
or when you come to the school library.
In the near future, we plan to offer classes at the school libraries, too, on topics such as mobile devices, genealogy research and résumé-writing. All will be free and open to the public.
